Christmas is coming and I want to buy some gifts for my golf buddies as well. Not something expensive - maybe some shirts or something. Any recommendations? Do you know any good (but not pricey) golf gifts?
Maybe funny gag gift is the way to go? They're not expensive and probably even bring a smile on their face. Here's a list of few ideas https://thegolfeinstein.com/funny-gag-gifts-golf-lovers/ I got my buddy the evolution shirt from there and he loved it
@tony1977 If you're buying for several of your golf buddies, put together a pkg for each containing:
If you or someone you know drinks Crown Royal, you can use the cloth bag that the bottle comes in to pack your gifts. It makes a nice addition to keep valuables (car keys, cell phone, etc) inside your golf bag when playing your round.
Not very expensive but I'm sure your golf buddies will use it and appreciate your gesture.
I like usefull gifts and try to stay away from sizes.
That makes the list a bit short.
1) club glove tour towel, a great microfiber towel that DOESNT have the clip, it hangs on a club and is really being used by caddies. They go for about $20 each and various colors.
2) Driver club head covers, characters like college mascots, pro teams, star wars, super heros, dogs etc. I have seen fast food coves like a hamburger, frosty and even fries in a container. Try daphines headcovers. If you are creative a company called AME arizona manufacturing does custom work, you could get a head cover that says "tonys foursome" and have their name on the cover or whatever comes to mind. They are pretty good.
3) The latest golf book, either history or some topic other than swing correction or you will hear every chapter the rest of year. lol
Of course check out Callaway Pre Owned: might get lucky there. Check out Patrick Gibbons Hand Made products. He makes ball markers that are cool and not too pricy. A lot of other things are high quality and $$$ on that site. The Chive also has cool golf items.
@jimm9fa7 had some great ideas. The Club Towel really is better than anything else. I hope to get a Labrador Retriever headcover myself.
There are tons of ball markers/repair tools out there for every team, military organization and school there is...they make great gifts.
Hats are alway welcomed. Depending on how much you want to spend, TPK makes some really cool leather scorecard holders.
I'm not sure of the cost, but personlized ball markers from Liberty Ball Markers look awesome and give a little personal touch. I agree with above about Daphne's headcovers, but also check out Craftsman Golf. They are great quality and they have someunique products too. Can never go wrong with a club towel like mentioned above too.
