@daigle_marcI have a set of steelhead xr pro's and really enjoy them. They are sneaky long with lots of forgiveness built into them. The iron has a little bit of offset built into them which can cause you to hook the ball if you play to a natural draw but they do have a nice flight to them . Best advice I can give is go get fitted by a callaway fitting centre you won't regret it
I got fitted for the XR irons and I was perviously a Ping man. I was a little dissapointed when the XR Steelheads came out shortly after my purchase but from what I gathered from the Callaway Community there was no difference between the two clubs as far as performance. I have had mine since January, 2016 and I stll love them. The XR irons and hybrids can be bought at a good price on the CPO site.
I played the XR Pro for about two years and they are great, less offset than the XR. I now play the Steelhead XR and really like them it almost seems effortless to hit them well and long. I would say length wise they are pretty close with the edge going to the Steelhead for me, I play the same shaft in the Steelhead as the XR Pro the KBS Tour V90.
