Just bought a like new Fusion, 10.5 Degree, 44.5" Reg Shaft. Absloute bargin $285NZD. We are heading to NZ skiing in 3 weeks so will pick it up then and bring it back to Aussie.
Good choice with Fusion - a real sleeper of a driver - low spin, straight, long and forgiving.
The GBB. Owned it, read a lot of feedback, it was easy to draw, maybe too easy.
Was playing GBB XR (the 2015 model). Hit it pretty well unless I made a bad swing. I often hit it a little above center. Not the worst miss, but aggravating. Then in March of this year I was able to hit the EPIC Sub Zero at a demo day at one of the courses here in town. I was able to hit several shots with both my XR and the Sub Zero. The range was one that you can see the ball land down hill from the teeing area. It was obvious that the Sub Zero was longer than my XR. I was finally able to get one a couple of weeks ago and I can tell you that my initial impression has been confirmed. When I make a good swing I'm getting up to 40 yards more with the Sub Zero. In the fairway a lot, too. Today is a good example, 10 fairways and 2 of the 4 I missed were in 1st cut. The other 2 were just bad swings, not the club's fault. I'm a 73 year old 7 handicapper so that much additional yardage fairly consistently is a huge plus. This club is definitely a keeper.
