2018 Practice Schedule
2018 Workout Schedule
@AlexEasthom that's great. . but most of us have jobs and families that consume this thing we call life. You're still young and haven't had to actually live in the real world yet! 😁
Post your schedule in 10 years and see if its changed!
Here’s my practice schedule:
Go into work early several days so I can sneak out one afternoon to play golf.
Drive like a bat out of Hades to the course. Slide into the parking lot on 2 wheels. Load up and change as fast as a NASCAR pit crew.
Hit it the first tee, play 9 or 18 depending on time.
Back into bat out of Hades mode for the drive home. Repeat as often as I can.
That sounds like an excellent program. How much time do you allocated each day for the golf and for the workout?
Like the others have said, the time committment for this is unrealistic for me. I can get in a full 18 hole round once every other weekend, make it to the range/short game practice area 3 or 4 times at lunch each week, and get in some short workouts in the morning before everyone else in the house gets up.
The only comment I have on the workout plan is that I don't see any kind of explosion drills.
@Stumpnav Monday is about a 3-4 hour practice session. Tuesday is about 3 hours. Wedensday is about 3 hours. Thursday is however long it takes to play 18 holes. Friday is only 1.5 hours. Saturday/Sunday just means between those two days get 2 hours of wedge practice and play 18 holes. It can be all in one day or split between the two. The workout schedule takes about an hour or less. I did not come up with the workout on my own, it is actually an old Costal Carolina golf workout routine. Some of these drills you can cut down, or if that part of your game is really strong you can take it out all together. I understand most people cannot do this stuff everyday. I can't even do it everyday with school, other sports, and then in the summer I work 8 hours. It is a good break down of a day to day routine that if you can fit some of it in it will really help the golf game. Also please elaborate on "explosive drills" I would love to include some!

@CarlT9704 Looks good to me! I see leg, shoulder, and core workouts in there, and seems like you get to practice/play a decent amount.
I have been retired for 15 years . There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done. I don't know how I got anything done when I worked.
