Since I put callaway epic iron combo set in the bag my game has changed.Been in the 70's more then I have in years, its a whole new game for me now.The combination for me is killer aw to 7 in epic pro and 6 to 4 in regular epic iron seems to just fit my game.My epic driver is automatic for me off the tee I never had such length on demand like I have now.Usually by now my game has peeked for the season but it feels like its still climbing hope to start shooting what I use to do 15 yrs ago.If your on the fence about filling your golf bag with all callaway equipment do yourself a favour do it.
@emanuelt2ef3Glad to hear that Epic goodness is working out so well for you, especially considering the level of investment you've made!
My experience with Epic (driver only so far) hasn't been as good as almost everyone else's, but I still love my GBB. Would like to try those Epic irons eventually.
@ShaneWu Stick with it I went through 3 shafts before I found the right one.The numbers on the stock shaft were good but just didn't translate to the course for me. The epic irons were a drop dead deal that I couldn't pass up on with the 150 % trade in deal(cleaned out the closet with that deal). The epic irons in the combo set just seem to fit my eye with the scoring irons being smaller and the long irons are like hitting a hybrid. They do take some getting use to with the extra height and length. The spin is not an issue with the epic irons I play on small greens they actually look like upside down bowls no promblem holding the greens on well struck shots.
@emanuelt2ef3 What stock shaft did you start with, what shafts did you try and what did you end up with. I've picked up some yardage with the T800, but not as much as I was hoping for...hoping a different shaft will get me there.
