I love listening to all sorts of podcasts, many of which are golf related. I was listening to a couple this week that were produced by one of the larger media entities in the world of golf which were supposed to be about the Masters.
Over the two hours of both podcasts, there was maybe 20-25 min of Masters talk. The rest was all about the individuals conducting the podcasts. Some of the topics they discussed: why they don't like covering the Masters; how hard it is for them to do their job during the Masters; why they're not allowed to go anywhere they want to at ANGC; etc.
After listening to them, I was struck by the stark contrast between them and the various Callaway podcasts. Granted, Callaway is going to talk about Callaway products and staff...it is their podcast after all...but they are more well rounded and complete than any others out there.
From the craziness that is The Ship Show to the hilarity and knowledge that is The ShackHouse, it brings joy to my golfing podcasts!
