Recently I tested the new Rogue Irons. Callaway sent me the irons to test for the purposes of writing a review for the Callaway Community.
Sunny and 65. I spent about 2 hours on the range with them.
Club Characteristics (1=Very poor, 10=Outstanding)
Look, sound and feel really surprised me. I could tell when I miss hit one but was surprised that I didn't lose that much distance.
(1=Very poor, 10=Outstanding)
|DISTANCE compared to my current irons||7/10|
|FORGIVENESS compared to my current irons||9/10|
|CONTROL compared to my current irons||7/10|
|LAUNCH compared to my current irons||7/10|
They felt a few yards further than my current Titleist irons but didn't feel that substantial. Forgiveness was much better but the launch was similar.
I felt there was noticeable differences from the club's I'm currently playing. My only regret is that I didn't get to keep them in my bag.
Not really much to comment here but if I'm being picky I'm not really a fan of the color pattern
Summary of My Experience with the Rogue Irons:
Overall it was a very positive experience I've recently switched to the Rogue driver from my Titleist driver and have been very happy with the results. I would have no problem switching from my Titleist irons to these.
