@DavidHa5b6 Knowing what you know now, do you prefer your Steelhead Pros or the Rogue Pros? Which would you recommend for a mid handicapper (10-12)? Also, where abouts in Georgia are you playing? @PowderPuff, how bout you? We've had pretty decent weather down here in South Georgia but the conditions vary from course to course.
Great questions. I really like the Rogue Pro irons and am contemplating making a switch from my Steelhead Pro irons...but I am struggling with it since I am a big fan of the Steelheads. That said, for a 10-15 handicap player, I would say the Steelhead Pro irons are a much better option. They have a slightly larger sole and larger sweet spot than the Rogue Pro irons thus making them easier to get out of a variety of lies. The top line on both irons is very similar so the forgiveness and sweet spot win out. Also, they have a black version of the iron (which I have) which is really nice...especially on bright days...and they are easy to spot as mine. I hope that this helps.
As to where in GA...up in the NW Atlanta suburbs OTP...usually about 10 degrees colder than you guys in the southern part of the state this time of year.
@ChrisC2abd I live not too far from the airport, in the metro Atlanta area. Last winter's weather was better here than this year's has been. Lately it's been a rainy day or two followed by several cold windy days, then a decent day or two, then repeat the cycle.
