Recently I tested the new Rogue X Irons. Callaway sent me the irons to test for the purposes of writing a review for the Callaway Community.

Club Characteristics (1=Very poor, 10=Outstanding)
Sleek, well put together. Grips seem a bit slick. Had several clubs move in my hand
(1=Very poor, 10=Outstanding)
|DISTANCE compared to my current irons||4/10|
|FORGIVENESS compared to my current irons||3/10|
|CONTROL compared to my current irons||7/10|
|LAUNCH compared to my current irons||5/10|
Again grips slipped in hands several times. Seemed I had to hold club tighter.
Beautiful. Nice feel when holding tighter to the club. More forgiveness.
Grips were slick in the hand.
Summary of My Experience with the Rogue X Irons:
Enjoyed the opportunity. Played two days on the same course and found myself by the 3rd hole reaching for an iron as compared to hybrids.
@Warbird2071, you did not rate the Rogue X irons very favorable compared to your current irons. What irons are you playing ?
1 out of 10 in the all club characteristic categories? Is that right or was it supposed to be 10 out of 10?
Not sure why it inverted my numbers. So where they are low that should have been high and where they are high that should have been low. Such where control, was at 7 it should’ve been a 3.
1 = Very Poor
10 = Outstanding
That was said right up front before you rated them. Are you saying that the numbers that you plugged in are not right ? If so I would redo the evaluation. You can go back and edit I think.
