I want to adjust the lie angle on one of my woods and a hybrid. Since the guy at golf galaxy won’t do cast irons, do you think he will huff and puff about a wood and a hybrid?
Is a wood easier or more difficult to do?
@BradCe594 yeah I didn't wanna mention the blow your house thing lmao hey go for it you only live once what could happen club breaks so you get another one an don't know why he didn't want to bend cast irons golfsmith had no problem with bending my Xr irons 2* flat
Like @DonJ said, there should be no issue with breaking an XR (cast) iron +/- 3*. Woods are much harder to bend and can only be done if there is a long glued hosel, like on the Epic Star woods for example. I would not bend Steelhead XR woods no matter what.
If they guy will not bend a cast iron head I certainly wood not (see what I did there) allow him to approach the hybrid or fw.
that said bending the SH fw is not something I would have anyone do except HQ as they have molds to hold the head properly for the bend. Even with that it may not work well,
a glued in hybrid should be ok though
