I think most fitters will try to bend a cast club as long as you don't go too far. There is always a chance it could break. When I was looking at the Big Bertha OS irons, they allowed you to change the lie angle and loft. I think my current irons need a lie adjustment but I don't know that I trust anyone around here to do it.
It can be done. I think the problem is some of the fitters go too fast and far and that stresses the metal and cracks them. Call the manufacturer and ask to be sure and how much. My dad has the machine to adjust and called Callaway for my daughters through hosel clubs. They said it can be done up to 2*, He took his time and iittle by little got them perfect. And by time I mean 2-3 min per club.
Find a different fitter if they say no.

It was the two remaining XR's I have. Looks like I will continue to hunt and stalk the Callaway Preowned Store to complete my apex set.
