@Cmhockey81 If you're a beginner and hitting a slice, you're probably keeping the face of the club open at impact rather than square. Before you decide on a ball, have someone (local pro/playing partner/golf retail store fitting clerk) look or record your swing to see if that's occurring. Working on improving your swing will help you more in keeping the ball flight straight and in play than switching golf balls.
I’ve played several different golf balls but I’m a fan of supersofts but when I was really struggling I tried to find a lower compression ball that helped in taking spin off
callaway also makes the hot 70 which is a great "getting started" less likely to offend the wallet ball.
after that super soft for sure.
Due to the overwhelming responses of supersoft, I will pick up a box before the courses open for the summer. Living in Maine with these noreasters are killing me. I was also given a box of Hex Diablo Tour and The newest Warbirds as a gift. Any opinions on those? I want to drive the ball straight, but aroung the green I often dont get much spin and the ball would just keep going and going.
The warbird ball is long and fairly straight, but it may not spin as much as you want around the green. The hex diablo tour should spin a little more on short shots.
