@budrun Not being sarcastic at all, but it sounds like you may need to get away from the all a little at address. If you're hitting it on the heel on all settings try moving an inch away at address. One other thing I've seen other peopledo is to address the ball with the toe of the club on the ball to make sure they don't hit the heel. Just a thought on my part. Hope you get it figured out as the Epic is a beast.
My miss with faiways and driver is usually on the toe side. At address I have the ball about half an inch towards the hosel side of the club. Just do the opposite and position the ball towards the toe and see if that fixes the problem.
I agree with positioning the ball by the toe. You can also look at the inside part of the ball (or even the ground just inside the ball) as you start your swing to trick your eyes since your hands seem to be extending too far out at impact.
@budrun before you even start messing with the hosel settings you should get that center of the face contact. First thing i would adjust for you to see if it corrects it is shaft length... I would choke down an inch or two from your normal grip and see if that brings things back to the center.
Have you tried impact tape to see where you are actually hitting the ball? You can also get some foot powder spray and see where you hit too. I've been doing that and it helps a lot and super cheap.
It does sound like you are too close to it. Or maybe it's too far forward and you're hitting it on the inside up path?
The foot powder will tell you exactly where you are hitting it.
