I want to get a combo set of XForged and MBs. However, being a lefty, my local fitter does not have either of those clubheads on their fitting cart for me to use. They have a demo, but it is a glued in PX 6.0.
Do you think I could use an Apex 16 Pro clubhead to find the correct shaft? If I find the best shaft using the Apex 16 Pro, will that be fairly close to the best shaft in the XF and MB?
They chance to go to a fitter with those clubheads is a relative longshot, so I'm going to have to make due with what I have locally.
@Stumpnav- I would call Callaway, or holler at Nate specific for guidance. If you are going to spend the bucks for the clubs you are going to want the right shaft for your swing data, with the right flex and kick point.
@Stumpnav I would be more concerned about all the properties of the golf club first.
Length, lie, total weight. etc. and finish with the shaft thats in the ball park based on your situation.
I would say the APEX falls some wehre in between the X forged and the MB as far as design goes so you can draw a simularity. I would give the PX LZ 105 a shot also.
