The MCC4+ grips have excellent feed back and tack.
The MCC4+ has less taper at the bottom of the grip which shold play into a wedge club just fine if you choke down on shots to gauge distance or control.
The UTX is a firmer grip but if fighting a little be of aurthur then this is a step in the right direction.
and you can a prefered color too. Im a lime green guy
I'm regripping with SS Cross Comforts today also. Moving on from the UTX.
Ive only played the regular NDMC on wedges and didn't see any drop off from my game. Maybe the texture/feeling of the MCC+4 will give a lighter grip pressure and more touch??
@RickM- I use the lamp kin full cord fro grip and they work great. The MCC +4 are great grips as well. I believe that you will like them a lot. Take time to get use to them, they will have a different feel but you will find that they will work fine for you on the wedges.
I've got the plain MCC midsize on most of my clubs, tried 2 of the MCC+ midsize grips on wedges. I like all of them, really don't notice much difference other than the + grip helps when you grip down on a club. Going to try the Z cord midsize soon.
