I’m new to the community. In fact I just found it because I had questions about where I should be custom-fitted here in Utah. I came across a business in Draper Utah named impact golf center that sounds reasonable. They advertise flightscope on aboutgolf pga software.
I have heard great things about GC2 with HMT and the GCQuad. I’m not sure that flightscope would even be in the league? not being rude I’m just very new to this.
The main reason I would like to be fitted right now is because I think I have to fast of a club head speed for regular shafts but I would like a lot of other information as well... when I first started playing again last year I could only drive 200yrds but picked it back up very quickly and was consistently driving over 300 pretty accurately. And if I gave it everything I could get to 350 much less accurately.
I’m just wondering if it’s worth it to drive 4.5 hours round trip for The information it will provide. Also wondering about SST shaft pure tech, They offer. Or if anyone els has better or closer options.
Im on the boarder of Utah and Idaho.
@Aller Welcome to the Community. With what you describe, I think you would benefit from a fitting.
Second, as far as Flightscope goes, one of the Top 100 fitters in the US, our very own @jimm9fa7 of McGolf.net uses Flightscope...I would say that is a good enough endorsement.
You have 4 Top 100 Fitters (according to Golf Digest) in the greater SLC area:
1. Golftech in SLC/Holladay
2. Uinta Golf in Riverdale
3. Golf Lab in SLC
4. Uinta Golf in SLC
Realize, flex is not just about speed it's also about delivery. Just because you swing fast does not mean you need an XStiff.
Good luck and let us know how things go.
