Both at 42.5 inches, 3 wood at 43 inches. I use the 4+ wood and like it alot. I too also have a 4H as my next club. It is easy to hit off the deck or tee so if you can hit a 3 wood off the deck, I would not worry at all about the 4+ wood. I had used a 5 wood prior to that but I have played a 4 wood or a 4+ wood for a long time and never felt the need to carry a 3 wood and 5 wood anymore. Now I just go driver, 4+ wood, 4H at 22 degrees. I haven't found much distance difference using a 4+ or 5 wood really over the 3 wood. There is some but not enough for me to carry one and worry about it. Maybe I just don't play on long enough courses! :) I am in the process of trying out a 3H at 19 degrees what would fit perfectly between the 16 degree 4+ and 22 degree 4H. So far I love the club but really don't think I need it as I can get the job done without any issues between the 4+ and 4H clubs. I traded in some other gear and got the 3, 4+ and 5 wood in the Steelhead XR's but never used the 3 wood or 5 wood yet! The 4+ does what I need so the other two just sit here! Big thanks @lil_mike for your thoughts, very informative. If you compare the size of the 4+ wood head with the 5 wood - is the face much smaller? Do they have the same height? I know the difference is only 3cc (157cc - 4+ vs 160cc 5) but I haven’t seen the 4+ in real life so I don’t know where they made the head smaller. I am little worried that the 4+ will be harder to hit from the tee due to a smaller head/face. BR Johan

Hi I have a qusiton regarding Steelhead XR fairway wood. I have just ordered a 4+ with the 55 gr shaft in R flex but wounder if a should change to a stock 5 wood instead. I think that the loft in the 4+ wood would suit my gap perfectly (I have Fusion driver and Steelhead Hybrid #4). My swing speed is about 90 - 95 with driver and my idea was that the lighter shaft (standard shaft for the non + models) will make the club more user friendly. My bad shots go to the right left. So that was also one reason to go for the + model (flatter lie). Any experiance with the 4+? Much harder to play than the 5 wood? In that case I maybe should change to the standard 5 wood. I have demod the 3 wood in I think I can handle the 3 wood from the deck. Have a nice day!
